The Internship Program is designed to provide students enrolled in a variety of education institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work in Federal agencies and explore careers while still in school and getting paid for work performed.
This is a vacancy announcement for one or more locations throughout the Forest Service. The number and location of positions to be filled will be dependent upon individual unit needs. Apply only to those locations where you are willing and able to travel and/or relocate to. Some locations may have temporary housing available. The tours of duty include full-time and part-time schedules.
There may be up multiple locations and positions filled under this announcement. These temporary positions will be filled as Intern Not to Exceed (NTE) appointments. The appointment may or may not be extended depending upon the unit's need and funding.
